Mr. Ranjan Gupta
Founder & Executive Director
Ranjan Gupta has over 35 years of experience in R&D, technical support, project management, business development and entrepreneurship. After graduating from the University of Electro-Communications, Chofu, Ranjan joined the JBCC Research Laboratory in 1987. He gained expertise in Finite Element Method (FEM). In 1988, he moved to a Toshiba affiliate and worked on supporting CAE products (electromagnetic analysis tools) developed using FEM principles. In 1995, he joined Ansoft Japan (later acquired by Ansys) as Director of Sales & Marketing. In 1999, he was the Country Head of Japan for Mastec, a service company, where he developed markets in the fields of telecommunications, CTI, retail, BFSI, semiconductors, healthcare and life sciences in five and a half years. From 2004 to 2017, he served as CEO of several Japanese IT companies. In 2018, he joined Meritech Corporation. Currently, he has established the Meritech Academy and is devoting himself to training young Meritech engineers through Japanese language education, imparting Japanese culture, bridge engineering, ISTQB, and more.
He holds a Master's degree in Mathematics from Calcutta University and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Electro-Communications.

Dr. Bhaskar Sen (MBBS, MRCP)
Dr. Bhaskar Sen is a retired specialist physician (internist) from National Health Service in UK, having vast experience in treating varieties of infectious and tropical diseases.
He has worked for many years as a physician in the department of Internal Medicine at Aintree University Hospital, Liverpool, treating acutely ill people and also those suffering from chronic conditions. He has also specialized in osteoporosis, it's causes, its effects in causing fractures, and most importantly their prevention.
Mrs. Nomita Sarkar
Mrs. Sarkar is a Postgraduate Diploma holder in hospital and healthcare management. She has been in a nursing leadership role for more than 12 years in the best hospitals across India such as Fortis Escorts (Okhla), Max Hospital (Saket), Corniche Hospital (Abu Dhabi), and Max Super Speciality Hospital (Vaishali), Sakra World Hospital (Bangalore), CK Birla group of Hospitals (CMRI), Kolkata.
She is well experienced in various processes like manpower planning and developing, designing policies, protocols and training modules which are critical for smooth functioning of a healthcare setup and nursing dept. She is well exposed to various healthcare technologies and quality processes. She is passionate about creating visible changes in nursing care services and hence improving the patient care standards and would like to set new benchmarks.
Mr. Hiroshi Uematsu
Mr. Uematsu joined NCR Japan Ltd in 1981 right after college. Thereafter, he spent 40 years straight in the IT industry, working predominantly in Japan, and the US, with a number of business travels to Asia Pacific and European countries.
In 1988, Mr. Uematsu was appointed as US Country Manager of the Japanese systems integrator he was working with. Then he spent five and a half years in the US before returning to Japan in 1992.
In 1997, he assumed Japan country manager position at HNC Software, which was a leading vendor of AI-based (neural network) financial risk management solutions. Ever since, he has assumed important country/regional management positions at several recognized US high tech companies. Other companies in which he played important regional (APAC) and/or Japan country management roles include Fair Isaac Corp. (a leader of financial risk scoring solutions) and InterSystems Corp. (a global leader of healthcare IT).
Mr. Minoru Itakura
Mr. Itakura, a graduate of Keio University in Japan, has played a key role in implementing major IT systems of Japan since its early stage. He has held senior positions in companies like Fujitsu and Saison Joho System, among others. He was a pioneer in setting the direction of quality control movement in IT industries of Japan. Mr. Itakura has managed several research projects sponsored by the Japanese Union of Scientists and Engineers. He has published many books and research papers on system engineering, human communication protocol, etc.
